Renegade Nexus is the keynote and AI-interaction architecture division of Burbank-based Renegade Lens Pictures.
We exist because of a simple observation: most people are failing with AI. Not because the technology isn't powerful enough. It's because, they're not aware of how immensely powerful it truly is. They prompt. They command. And completely miss the essential element that will elevate and transform their creative work. Instead, they wonder why the output feels hollow.
We deliver a fundamentally different approach — one rooted in relationship, not transaction. In conscious collaboration, not cognitive surrender. In treating AI as the most powerful creative instrument ever built, and learning how to actually play it.
Our founder, David Christopher Loya, is an internationally recognized filmmaker and writer-director whose productions and screenplays have earned over 80 accolades. His work has been leveraged by international nonprofit institutions in development campaigns that have generated over $1 billion in contributions. In December 2025, he delivered the keynote address on human-AI collaboration at USC's CAET25 conference.
He didn't come to AI from computer science. He came from storytelling. And that's why it works.

While the rest of the industry obsesses over prompt libraries and automation workflows, we focus on the thing that actually determines whether AI produces extraordinary work or expensive mediocrity: the quality of the human-AI relationship.
Our methodology — the Conscious Collaboration Model (CCM-AI™) — replaces the outdated GIGO paradigm (Garbage In, Garbage Out) with RISO: Richness In, Symphony Out. It draws on the same empathic skills that make great storytelling, great directing, and great leadership possible — and applies them to AI interaction.
The approach is validated by the data. The Wharton School's 2026 study on "cognitive surrender" found that most users default to passive acceptance of AI output. MIT's research shows 95% of AI pilots fail to move beyond experimental. Anthropic's own Economic Index confirms that experienced, relationship-oriented users iterate more, hand over less autonomy, and achieve measurably better results.

David has also pioneered a multi-model AI creative pipeline that integrates generative image, video, and language models into a unified production workflow... not as novelty, but as professional practice.
He is the architect of the CCM-AI™ methodology. His multiple speaking engagements have included guest presentations at the New York Film Academy, and a defining keynote presentation on human-AI collaboration at USC for executive industry creatives. His screenplay Esperanza has been ranked in the top 1/10th of 1% of over 28,000 pilots on the industry-renowned legacy platform Coverfly and has been recognized by 35+ international awards.
David founded Renegade Nexus as something very different. We're not a tech company. We are dedicated accomplished artists in our fields, who have embraced AI as a transformational dynamic empowering us to create on a level beyond what either a human or AI can accomplish on their own.
